More! turns angelic chart toppers The Corrs into sexy Halloween vamps!.
Autumn's dark vampy make-up demands attention. Smudgy eyes ringed with black kohl, worn with glossy lips on an otherwise pale face, conjures up
a party look that's wickedly sexy. 'Without exception, kohl make-up makes everyone look sultry,'
says Lica Fensome, the make-up artist responsible for The Corrs' revamped look on these pages.
'It works with every skin tone though pale complexions may prefer to opt for softer grey or brown shades instead of solid black.' The beauty
of this perfect party look is that the strong eyes remain the main focus long after your lipstick has worn away - and the kohl also smudges
sexily as it warms on your skin. With hair kept casual, it's a look that screams seduction and self-confidence. As Jim, the only man in
the band, says, 'Strong eye looks like these can be seriously sexy. Very haunting, in fact.' Using a smoky black kohl base as a starting
point, we show his sisters three slightly different eye-catching ways to smoulder...
Andrea
|
Lead singer Andrea is set to cast a spell with a sprinkling of bronze pressed over her black base.
Before applying the eye colour, create a matte base dusted with powder for a pale complexion that accentuates the look.
Then sprinkle some loose powder under your eyes to catch any stray flecks of shadow which may otherwise spoil your base.
Once you've applied your base eye colour (see Sharon's section for instructions), press over a little Nars Nightclubbing,

with tiny bronze flecks. 'I love trying new colours and trends at the start of the season,' says Andrea. 'As I like to make my eyes the main focus of my make-up, this dark vampy look is
perfect. Eye-shadow is my favourite make-up and I enjoy blending dark shades like these for the stage or special occasions. Since I was
little, I've enjoyed trying out new make-up looks and I believe whatever colour your eyes, as long as you blend carefully, such strong
shades can look stunning,' she says. Strong eyes require groomed brows. Pluck stray hairs then brush through with a
little lipgloss to keep them in place and add sparkle to the look.

Sharon
|
Violin player Sharon works some magic with a touch of red shine to enhance her black looks. 'For me to be what I consider beautiful I have
to wear darker colours so this vampy look is perfect,' she says. 'I find applying make-up and blending eye colours very relaxing so I
like to take my time. I like to highlight my big eyes and good cheekbones as much as possible.' To create the sultry, smoky eyes used as
a base on all three girls, start with a blanket of ivory frost over and under your lid. No7 Colour Perfect

Shadow Opal, £4.75, is perfect. The darkest point of this look is a thick ring of black kohl around your eye and along the inner rims with the shadows smudged above and
below your eye. Using a damp brush, sweep a little Smashbox Single Eyeshadow Smashing Midnight Blue, £9, across your lids up to the socket
crease, building up the colour gradually and blending it to a point out onto the temples. Press a little Nars Nightfever, £12.50, a black
powder shot with red, over your lids taking the colour under your eyes too. Finish with masses of black mascara stroked on curled lashes then
brush away the loose powder from below your eyes.

Caroline
|
A hint of Nars Nightporter, £12.50, with its green particles gives drummer Caroline's bewitching black look some sexy sparkle. 'Strong eye make-up is
really exciting,' she says. 'I love to play around with dark colours to find different ways of wearing them. I also like to emphasise my eyes with
kohl, shadows and tons of mascara, so this look is great.' Caroline loves experimenting with new looks, 'Applying make-up is very therapeutic. If
I feel I look good it always puts me in a sexy mood,' she says. |

Such strong eyes are best worn with subtle lips and cheeks. A slick of lipgloss and a flush of tawny blush across your cheeks and on your temples will do. Cut your nails short and square-shaped so they're not claw-like then paint them black.
